On October 27, 2022, the Percussive Arts Society Indonesia Chapter (PAS-IC) was officially launched, marking a new era for percussion in Indonesia.
The Launch Event
The official launch coincided with Chic’s Music 33rd Anniversary celebration, bringing together the percussion community in Jakarta to witness this historic moment.
Founding Mission
PAS-IC was founded with a clear mission:
“The mission of PERCUSSIVE ARTS SOCIETY is to connect all percussionists in the world.”
By establishing an official chapter in Indonesia, PAS-IC aims to:
- Connect Indonesian percussionists to the global community
- Provide educational resources and opportunities
- Organize workshops, masterclasses, and events
- Support percussion students and professionals
- Promote Indonesian percussion traditions worldwide
